About Song-A-Day Project
My name is AJ, and this project is entirely unoriginal. It was inspired by Jonathan Mann, who (to me) has one of the most creative minds. Ever. He is the original Song-A-Day guy. He began his Song-A-Day endeavor in 2009, and has currently written over 1000 songs. I cannot recommend his music enough, and I am eternally thankful to his music and ideas for inspiring me to write, perform, and begin this musical experiment.

I do not know how long this will last. I’m not so sure I’m ready to tackle writing a song per day. I will try my best, but I have to warn you, not all songs will be winners. This is something I’m doing for me, and perhaps you’ll enjoy what is produced. I hope to collaborate with people on many songs, hopefully giving some variety in my songs.
I recently got a recording mic, although I don’t use it that often for Song-A-Day. Regardless, I don’t know much about recording, anyway, so don’t expect my songs to come out with a glossy coat of production value.
Jonathan Mann has a philosophy. It goes like this:
“Sometimes you’re going to suck, but here’s the important thing: SO WHAT? Not even in the big scheme of things, but in the here and now of things, so what? The world won’t end, I won’t die. I wrote a bad song, big deal, try again.”
So with that in mind, please, give me song requests, comments and criticisms, and enjoy watching me fail/succeed.
