I recorded some new songs! Check them out, if you so feel like.

I hope you like bad production value.

I re-recorded Song-A-Day #78, “And To The World, We Stay Purple.” I added more lyrics and gave it a fuller sound.

This song took on a more personal meaning after my dad passed away. Aside from the broad meaning of the song being about fixing the world’s general problems, this song is more personally about my final words with my father while he was on his deathbed.

LYRICS:

Well I’ve got this feeling

That someone I know

Is getting closer to dying

Time manifests in

Different ways

Counting down our every single breath

Heat rays

Spinning out of control

Enlacing you in a violent feeling of green

We’re all going to explode

If we don’t

Open the door

Come out in one piece

There’s no one to tell us that we failed

And there’s no one to say we’re lost

Let’s get off this heated breaking record

And I know

Sometimes

It’s easier to condemn than to think*

It’s funny how

It’s been flipped on its ear

The easy way out seems a lot harder now

The crusades to

Save the world

None have been faced with so much yellow

So hear me

While I’m afraid

That someone I know is dying

I’m aware

Of the shrinking

The shrinking of this sphere we push around

And we need to

Know where we stand

And to this world we need to stay purple

Promises were synthesized with a short life

If I can give anything, I want to in short time

I want change to go as quick as your life did

And I promised it would

I know we’re going to explode if we don’t

Hasten to open the door on this madness

It’s you who will know if I failed,

It’s you who will know if I’m lost

I’ll try my best to get us off this record

Are you in the mood for a happy peace-making jam? Of course you are! I re-recorded Song-A-Day #53, “Living One United.” Listen and download if you’re so inclined!

It’s not the most complex song, but it’s probably the most fun song I’ve ever written!

I re-recorded Song-A-Day #87, “Would You Like To Join My Fight Club?”

Dinosaurs and Unicorns.

When I start Sketch-A-Day (or Doodle-A-Day, I haven’t decided what to call it yet) in May, be ready for drawings of dinosaurs.

Lots of dinosaurs.

And unicorns, too.
